• Persist your character's state, inventory, and base building progress.

• Measure which pages and campaigns lead visitors to Harbor's official store and community pages, when analytics consent is granted.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to support Harbor and its official website. Depending on the service you use and your consent choice, data may be processed by:

• Epic Online Services (EOS): For authentication, matchmaking, and player data management.
• Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC): For analyzing game client integrity to prevent cheating. EAC may collect and process data regarding game binaries and system memory purely for cheat detection.
• Google Analytics 4: For consent-based website measurement. Advertising storage, advertising personalization, and Google Signals are disabled by our implementation.
• YouTube Embedded Player: Dedicated trailer pages use YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain to show the official video. Opening one of these watch pages creates a connection to Google/YouTube and may share technical request data such as your IP address, browser information, and referring page. Additional storage or processing may occur when you play or interact with the video and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

The embedded-video connection is separate from optional Google Analytics consent. Rejecting analytics prevents Harbor's GA4 measurement from loading, but it does not block the YouTube player on the dedicated trailer pages.

5. Website Analytics and Consent

Google Analytics 4 does not load on theharborgame.com unless you select "Accept" in the analytics notice. If you reject optional analytics, the Google Analytics script and analytics cookies are not loaded.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser under harbor_analytics_consent so the site can remember it. You can reopen the notice through "Analytics Settings" in the website footer and change your choice. Revoking consent stops future analytics collection and removes Harbor's Google Analytics cookies that are available to the site.

We use Measurement ID G-XMBR4ENVMK. Google may process technical information to provide aggregated measurement, security, and approximate geographic reporting; individual IP addresses are not exposed to us in Google Analytics reports.

6. Data Retention

We retain gameplay data for as long as you maintain an active account or as required to provide the service. Consent-based website event data follows the retention settings of our Google Analytics 4 property; aggregated reports may be kept longer. You may request information or deletion at any time.
